Goodbye 2020
The very last drops of the harsh year 2020 have been poured to our glasses.
Me, hubby and Peetu are spending Corona safe New Year’s Eve at home. We had a day walk in Pirkkala and an evening walk at the arboretum, after we drove Emma to her friends’. We are lucky that Peetu is not afraid of fireworks.
I continue my New Year Eve’s Blossa bottle series.
This year’s annual Blossa glögg is inspired by Marrakech, Morocco. There lies the city’s famous market square Djemaa el-Fna, surrounded by cafés, where traditional sweet Moroccan mint tea is served. This year's glögg tastes of fresh mint and green tea combined with traditional glögg spices.
This year’s bottle design is inspired by the Moroccan tiles that adorn the walls and floors around Marrakech. The greenish blue color brings to mind the cooling sea shimmering nearby. The style of the year 20 on the bottle resembles calligraphy, while the brassy, matte colors have been inspired by the brass trays popular at the market bazaars.
+0,5 C, cloudy, snowfall in the evening
