Last sunrise of 2020!
What a fabulous walk this morning. A really hard sparkly frost mad the mud hard enough to walk on but strangely was less slippery underfoot than yesterday.
Walking slightly later than the normal Thursday ladies walk (it’s still school holidays and we can still meet up as a 6 as we are remarkably still in tier 3) we hit the field beyond the woods at a perfect time to see a glorious sunrise.
On to the pond to find there was ice on it for the first time. We had to walk around a couple of times to find a spot where the swans could get near to the edge to be fed.
I had planned a blip of my rather nice 2020 diary bought in the V&A in November 2019 and has contained mainly crossings out. Haven’t bought one for next year.
The sunrise won out though and has to be a sign of hope for the coming year. A very Happy 2021 to you all!
Eda slept in a bed the very first time last night, very excited. Today the family have gone for a walk on Solsbury Hill above where they are hoping to move to next year. John is a double decker daddy! (Managed to dredge up an extra!)
