NYE 2020

Sydney’s midnight fireworks are going ahead, but the harbour foreshores are closed to most people. The last couple of years we’ve watched them from a distance, in Sydney Park. With household visitors limited to 5, but up to 30 permitted to gather outside, lots of groups had claimed their positions early. At the bottom of the hill, family groups picnicked at tables adjacent to the playground and toilets. The police were present.
