Winter sun

We decided to go to Newhaven for fish in the morning. After taking about half an hour to remove the snow and ice from the car, we finally got going and stopped off at Inverleith park for a walk on the way. Lots of abandoned snowmen in the park, long shadows from the low morning sun, and the pond frozen solid with perplexed swans sitting on the ice.
When we reached Newhaven, the queue at the fish shop consisted of 20 people so we abandoned our quest for fish.
