Black-headed Gull: Minimalanimalism?

I'm easy to please*: symmetry and birds (not to mention words...) seem (unreasonably?) satisfying to me... Crisper and more effective (I think) in large ("L").

I hope that is sufficient explanation: enjoy this surprisingly symmetrical shot. I was torn between this and a more colourful photo of a very cute and smiley black-headed black-headed gull (with foliage in the background), but this won because of the unusual symmetry (for a bird photo).
I also got some better pictures of Mrs Pochard today, but I'll (again) wait for a less grey day: the photo above is not desaturated!
