Chicken
Airline chicken breast with rosemary-lemon-soy pan sauce, butternut squash crisp, and tomatoes with olive oil and fleur de sel. Wine: Flor d’Englora Roure Montsant 2012.
The chicken was fantastic and the butternut squash was decent. Clearly, tomatoes are not in season so not from my CSA—they are on two week hiatus for the holidays. I needed a couple small tomatoes for last night’s moqueca, and the quantity was too small to be worth opening a can. The wine was shockingly acidic but good.
