We nearly died

Bit dramatic but the plane landing was absolutely bloody awful.

It's crazy what goes through your head when you consider the fact you are circling busy skies in nothing much more than a metal tube containing the things you hold the most precious in the world.

I had no regrets other than I got on the plane with my family who are but bairns. . I decided that the funeral would be a dire one to go to.

Anyway after an aborted touch and go landing we did finally land safely at which point I was rendered speechless for a long while.

Living life in a dramatic fashion meant that this friend did not believe my version of events until my much more level headed and sensible husband confirmed I was not exaggerating.

I don't fly well anyway and I keep having flashbacks.
