Lad’s Night

M’boy and I had a bit of a lads night tonight. I think he was ready for a break from his little sister and vice versa.

It’s been nice to have an evening of just being able to say “yes” to everything as well as not worrying too much about screen time etc. It also gave us a chance to catch up:

Me: Come on then, Owen. Have you got a girlfriend yet?

Owen: (incredulous) Why on earth would I want that?

I’ve just about finished laughing at his response. Lord knows we need a laugh from somewhere today…
