New year's eve promise

Mr U&L was much better this morning so I went for a quick trip to the local cemetery just to get some exercise and fresh air!
I noticed this bowl of hyacinths on a grave, and when I saw it I really felt it was sign of hope, spring is not so far away, and hopefully by then we may just be over the worst of this awful pandemic!
Just inside the gate there is a very early flowering shrub, which (despite it only being a few degrees c) was being visited by several bumble bees (see extra 1) I think it is Bombus terestris, a hardy species that can often be seen in winter here in the south. I also photographed this poor little stone angel with a broken wing - so sad (see extra 2).
The recent high wind had brought down several branches, many of which sported beautiful lichen (see extra 3).
My final extra is one of our garden sparrows, waiting to go into the nest box beside our bedroom window. They keep taking in nesting material, I am not sure if they are building a nest, or just a warm winter retreat, maybe someone can tell me.
