Moorland Wander

This afternoon the weather was too good to miss. We donned our layers and decided to brave the Whitby road in order to get to Levisham. Over the past few days the road has been busy and today was no exception as people took advantage of being able to travel and the decent weather.

We thought Levisham would be busy but the pub was closed and only a few parked in the village. However at Dundale pond we met lots of people on the Hole of Horcum circuit. Fortunately our route went in a different direction towards Skelton Tower. Just as well as we would have missed these lovely, if a little muddy, Highland Calves. 

We are now Tier three. Can’t help feeling a full lockdown would have been the better option. Roll on the vaccines.... I’ve had enough of this virus.
