Eating hay while the sun hides

The guinea pigs are still alive and kicking. They've got used to little Miss B playing beside their enclosure, and she loves to talk to and feed them, and is gentle with them. Their names have evolved slightly ... at the back is Pigtunia, front left, Pigdora, and the Great White is Pigpearl. (Formerly Petunia, Pandora and Pearl!) ;-)

Mr PP and I went and did a big grocery shop, and Mrs B very luckily was able to get her hair trimmed late this afternoon. Just in time to hear that Lincolnshire joins nearly the whole country in Tier 4 from tomorrow. So depressing for most businesses, especially small ones. As the vast majority of people who do catch Covid-19 suffer at home and do not go to hospital, why on earth such laws? I'm guessing it's to prevent new year's eve gatherings, but that's only one night ...

Still, looking on the bright side, nobody's dying of flu this winter! That frees up a few hospital beds ...
