Flooding at Teddington Lock

L3 Day 11 A lovely sky this afternoon and lots of people were out walking despite the cold. There has been flooding at Teddington Lock for the last couple of days at high tide which is not surprising considering the amount of rain we have had recently. This photo shows the area by the Anglers pub. The building on the left is one of the blocks of ‘luxury’ flats which have been built on the site of the old Teddington TV studios. I visited one of the show flats in this block and did not think I would want to overlook a pub garden, with the attendant noise and smells from the outdoor barbecue!
The extra is our local walk-in Covid testing Centre in the Car Park of St Mary’s University Sports Ground which is the other side of the block of flats.....another lovey view for some of the new owners! I have just watched the latest briefing with Boris and Co on the BBC, all very depressing still.
