The artist

Facing the very cold northwesterly on top of the moors, this artist was totally absorbed in her painting. She seemed almost oblivious to the biting air. She'd been up here a few days ago with family and been inspired to come back and paint. I've seen people paint up here in the summer but never the depths of winter. I can imagine it may seem a little mad but I thought it was a wonderful place to be cocooned in warm clothes and immersed in your passion.
