I'm the best looking mallard on the loch!

Another lovely day but a bit colder than yesterday.

Not quite so much free water as yesterday so more of the gulls and mallards were skating about on the ice. 

The swans are not happy walking on the ice and there was no take off space so they had to stay put in the small area of water. They could waddle out onto the small area of grass and stones beside the car park where they tackled their daily preening.

Much busier today so some side stepping onto the grass was necessary as I tried to walk at a reasonable pace.
