Anchor

This is a Branscombe blip dedicated to a certain person . : )
I went there this morning , it was quite cold and no sunshine . The anchor used to belong to an Italian ship called MSC Napoli which run aground near Branscombe in January 2007 . The pandemonium of looting and grabbing occurred . The sea brought all sorts of goods onto the beach including BMW motorbikes . People came in from all over the country and helped themselves to anything and everything . The very narrow country lane leading to the beach resembled a motorway and local people were most unhappy .
To be honest I hoped to get a much different picture but this is the best I managed today . Will try again in decent weather which we can actually enjoy .

For the record the anchor weighs 14 tonnes !!!!!!!!!!!
