Beauty under the leaves
Waited until the frost had gone then I went and did some gardening. Cut back all the old hellebore leaves and admired the emerging flowers. Swept the terrace, cut down some of the dead ferns and tucked them around some of the less hardy plants and wrapped fleece round the other pots. It was cold but the sun had some warmth in it. Enough exercise for today so I’m now going to make a cup of tea and sit and read Gardeners’ World and dream of Spring
