Flower Power

This is my image for Wide Wednesday! I know it is a flower. But it is a cold wet morning and I am not intending going out except for feeding the birds.

The Amaryllis is doing really well. So decided to do some measuring. The largest of the 4 blooms measures 6 inches (15cm) across, and at its widest point the blooms from pistil to pistil is 10.5 inches which is just over 27cm.
