Winter Warmers!

These hot water bottles belonged to my husband's grandmother. Their use now is purely decorative. I cannot feel that they were as cuddly as the rubber bottles we use today. She told me that they were put into the bed standing 'on end' and if you were lucky your nightie would be wrapped round them, but this didn't happen often!
Itstead of venturing outside today (apart from collecting the papers) I decided to scrub my hall and kitchen floors. They are now looking a lot cleaner and I am a lot warmer!
