2 + 2 Quartets...All in Silhouette

For the first time in a couple of months, I ventured down to the metro park. There were quite a few people there, including more than a handful of toddlers.

I saw the group of 11 sand-hill cranes off in the distance, and I had to bushwhack to shoot them. I was hoping to get a lot more of the sun into the shot, but the cranes wouldn't let me get close enough.

For once, I had several choices for the Blip picture, so I put a few into the Extras, including a couple of sand-hill close-ups.

It seemed like I waited for weeks,
to get a picture with all 10 beaks.
