Cook along with James Martin

We spent about £60 on ingredients for this 3 course meal. That's fine, it was a one off and we'd have fun learning new ways of cooking and we'd have a laugh.

So we all started together in the class and all was well until about 20 minutes in. James was going so quick, we managed to keep up as there was two of us but then a massive storm in the south coast took James's internet connection out and people went into complete meltdown. No one new what they were doing. Dad and I were in hysterics. I ended up bodging a halloumi and sweet chilli sauce starter, a chicken in creamy sauce for main and a custard tart for dessert. I had learnt to make crem pat so not all was lost.

Apparently the backlash for James was so bad he came off of social media. What is wrong with people?? We got a refund, it was fine. And we ate. Not what we're planned to eat but we made the best of it.
