Snow on the tops

I love snow and when I woke to it this morning I was soon off trying to find a blip.  I drove out to Holmbridge but kept to the main roads as so often I've seen cars stranded on those narrow country lanes and it only needs one to get stuck and it makes passing an impossibility.  Normally the road I was on (A6024) is closed down at the outset of any snowfall and I was surprised to see people setting off to drive over the moor as the conditions change so rapidly and it's really best to get back home ASAP.
