The snow wasn't deep and crisp and even ....

..... but it was beautiful to look at and to walk through. 

It was surprisingly quiet when I arrived up at the Heritage Park but gradually it started to get a little busier. The loch was largely frozen but there was enough open water, beside the cafe and car park, for the birds to have room to paddle about.

No sign of any ice but I did attach my Yak Tracks to my boots just in case .... it's so undignified to end up sitting in the middle of the path. Hoping for more of the same tomorrow.
