California Poppies

There was/is a full moon tonight. It was due to rise at 8.30 so I went down to the beach with some friends for a picnic dinner and to watch it come up.

Photos are on my camera, but I haven't downloaded them yet.

I took Azzy for a long walk along the stop bank where we got to admire the poppies. In New Zealand they are a real problem/pest/weed as they are so prolific and cause such problems to our river beds. But they certainly put on a good display.
