Working Platform

Interesting to see PG&E's work set-up. They've constructed a platform over the mud to take the weight of their diggers, and these white shopping bags full of stones are weighing things down.
In the extra, the stumps of the old boardwalk now destroyed - it looked like this back in the summer. I wonder if they will also remove the feet of the ghost pylon?
I can't help feeling the entire job would have been simpler when the ponds were dry.
