Kids

A simple brilliant morning at Tekapo. No wind, or clouds, and a flat calm lake. Which was lucky, as I had to carry out my threat to the kids. Carry on trying to do a particular thing to me, and I'll throw you in the lake. Lucky for them, I let them put their togs on, as did I. And then did the deed. Was tad cold initially ... And then they played in the water, with our friends son Seb.

Being the classic day, Nick and I decided of course to head out on the bikes and have a closer look at the Tekapo forest. Fab morning .

Back to the (awesome) house for lunch, then off to the beach for the afternoon. And then back to the house for BBQ salmon, and wines, looking out over the front lawn to the lake and mountains.

I actually can't express just how awesomely beautiful this place is. Very jealous
