The Other End

........... of the scale to yesterday’s example

............ we normally have a seed feeder hanging next to this branch so that birds that can’t cling on can enjoy the seeds too.
It’s very well used by all the birds and squirrels but consequently the mess underneath of discarded seeds has got a bit much so we’ve moved it temporarily in the hope that some of the ground feeding birds will eat up the seeds.

This dimwit sat on the branch where the feeder used to be for hours as if expecting it to magically appear ........... it didn’t seem to occur to him that he might have to look elsewhere for his food ......... not once did he attempt to eat the seeds on the floor below ......... I wonder if he’ll be back tomorrow ;-))
