Eye see peanuts

We had an interesting day. A Mac desktop operating system upgrade via the phone with a service we use. My gigantic photo library is still updating, 88% at the moment, so I'm using my laptop now, I only really use it when traveling or in Maine, so it seems strange.

Then, we had a very fun video call with our dear friend Dollydoug. We met here. The fabulous Blipfoto Community brought us together. Since then she has visited us at Dogcorner Cottage twice and a third time will happen when this is dreadful time is over. We opened her fabulous Christmas parcel today too. It was fun to see her and a flash viewing of Lily and Tino lazing by radiator. she saw Merry snoozing in her favorite chair.

The gray squirrels were busy today, the peanuts keep them off the bird feeders, but nothing deters the reds. They can get into everything and anything. This gray looked  very well fed.

Not much bird activity today, and sadly we have not seen the Bluebirds for days. I hope the Starling invasions  have not sent them away. We still have hope and will keep their food fresh and well supplied.

For the Record,
This day came in warm and cloudy. Now it looks like rain actually, not snow which one would expect at the time of the year.
