Cheese soufflé

It has been very cold, grey and damp all day. I went no further than our garage when the supermarket delivery arrived. That left me with no outdoor blip from my almost daily walk.

When I need inspiration I often blip flowers, but I've done that already. Then there are Christmas lights - done that too. If all else fails, it's the cats or food. The cats were nowhere to be found.

I cooked a cheese soufflé tonight, trying to find a way to persuade Mum to eat eggs for their iron content. I was pleased with the result and we enjoyed it.

I was at a Zoom meeting of the photo class with the Covid-19 project. We are making great progress towards a photo book to share our work. Everyone joined in and we all enjoyed the meeting.

This afternoon, Mum and I watched the new film about Beatrix Potter and Roald Dahl on Sky. It is called Roald and Beatrix: The Tale of the Curious Mouse. We loved it. In addition to the basic tale, which is that Roald did meet Beatrix when he was six years old, the film is full of allusions to their writings. Aficionados will squeal with delight when they spot them.

Tonight we saw the previous Uni Challenge and tonight's Only Connect.  It's been a pleasant time of viewing.

PS My apologies to Kendall for blipping the soufflé but I had nothing else to show!
