Baby its cold outside

Mono-Monday: chilli

Its cold and we had occasional small flurries of snow and some sleet, but nothing that would settle.  Still, it definitely felt wintery outside.  The supermarket delivery driver got very excited about it all, bless him - but I would guess he's probably only in his late 20s.

Inside it was a day for chores - and eating up the last of our turkey. It was delicious, but it has all gone now. 

I Skyped Dad in his care home  as arranged, (you have to book these things in advance), only for him to ask after 10 minutes whether we could cut it short as it was film night and he was keen not to miss the beginning.  I had to laugh with Cathy over that - there we were worrying that he might be feeling lonely at this festive time of year, while he was more concerned not to have his plans interrupted.  Who knew that Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamboat would be such a big attraction? :-)))))
