Village walk.

I would have been happy to wake up to snow or frost but no just more murk!

Had a short walk in the village and noted that the water was running very fast and high in Harden Beck at the Malt Shovel Bridge. There has been some inundation. This garden along side the Beck but not at the other side of the bridge so not as high as after some past storms. Lots of cars parked up on the road for Goit Stock but we weren't in the right footwear to take a look and thought it best to avoid the crowds.

The cottages at Mill Hill top looked as pretty as ever and although I liked this decoration in the (other) garden centre we came out with nothing.

We did see the odd vehicle with snow on it but nothing here.

Will have to gear up for walking in the mud when we go further afield.
Back to the warm and my current jigsaw started on Boxing Day, all the black bits left to do now!
