The Beach

We spent the night visiting friends who recently moved to Thirroul which is just over an hour south of Sydney. When we drove down yesterday afternoon the rain was unbelieveably heavy. We took another couple with us and had a great night catching up (and enjoying food and wine!). The morning was rather slow, we had breakfast at a cafe down on the beach, just behind where I took this photo - beautiful spot.

The sea was very rough so the beach was closed to swimmers.
