What a Beauty

Evening dog walk with Luna around the Ottobeuren Schickling route and came across this wonderful Mercedes-Benz Unimog 1200. As we squeezed past I thought it was a brand-new machine. Then standing at the front noticed it had an "H" numberplate (the last letter) signifying it was at least 30 years old and qualifies for all sorts of road tax, insurance and emission standard privileges.

The law requires the vehicle to be as good as in original condition i.e. you can't replace headlights with modern LED ones, there should be no real rust or damaged parts.

I couldn't get over the wonderful state of her. Bet she is worth a good amount. Very envious.
