Fresh bread

One of the joys of having an Aga is that making a fresh loaf is no problem! We needed some for our turkey sandwiches as they are so much better when the bread is moist and tender, and I expect all the shops are shut today? Why would you buy it when you can make it! Both Andrew and Gilly have made bread too, they have inherited the confidence I guess.
I dashed out this morning before the arrival of the freezing weather to finally lift my dahlias, just in time and they are looking good plump tubers for next year.
Pepper came out to play with her Christmas ball, and I found myself looking out for snowdrops! So I guess we are already looking forward to spring!
