Another day at the seaside

Well Storm Bella passed us by with very little disturbance and we woke to a beautiful sunny day. After breakfast we decided we would take a walk from Holbeck down to the beach , The Holbeck hotel slid into the sea in 1993.

We walked as far as the spa complex (a grand Victorian building)  - the TV series ‘Remember Me ‘ starring Michael 
 Palin was filmed here.  Scarborough has been the location of many films including ‘Little Voice ‘ - among others.

 Our  return journey took us through the Italian gardens.

There  were surprisingly few people about.
