Its always good to see geese flying over the Solway estuary.  Saw these at  Anthorn.  Its turned so bitterly cold, but at least the storm has been and gone.

Am watching the Sound of Music... the original one with Julie Andrews.  Had forgotten just how good it is.  I remember how popular it was back in the 60s when it was released.  We lived in Hereford and my mum had to book a coach trip to Ross on Wye many weeks in advance for us all to see it.   Those were the days!
