A beautiful day

After a horrible, wet and windy day yesterday, today was a beautiful winter's day. Storm Bella managed to flip our patio table and chairs over last night but when I checked this morning they fortunately hadn't broken and the cover hadn't ripped. It's the first time that's ever happened so it was quite a strong wind.
After a slow start, we decided to go for a walk rather than the gym as it was so beautiful out and about. I wanted to go to Oswestry Hill Fort but after reading the Trip Advisor reviews, changed my mind as it didn't sound like a very long walk. We headed for Haughmond Hill but most of Shrewsbury seemed to have had the same idea so we turned around and went to Sainsbury's instead! After doing the shopping, we walked into town and enjoyed a lovely drink in Stop before taking a few pics of the Christmas lights and heading home.
