Calm after the storm

The village church yard at dusk.  Its got cold quickly this evening and along with the pretty lights all around the village, it felt very festive.

The storm passed without much damage last night, although a 106 mph gust was recorded just over the water at The Needles on the Isle of Wight. We were a little more protected than with the usual southerly storms as this one came in slightly more to the west.  Plenty of debris scattered the roads and pavements on our morning dog walk.
