Snow on the fells

Storm Bella was kind to us...

We had a stormy night...heavy rain/hail showers...gale force winds...but thankfully it cleared away to The South.

After an early lunch, we did a two and a half hour walk through Setmurthy woods, and up on to The Hay ( Watch Hill, Cockermouth ).

The wind chill was high, and we had a heavy hail storm at one point.

The fells in the background of this blip are Whiteside and Grasmoor, near Buttermere.
