I'M WALKING IN THE AIR

Another much needed quiet day today and the walking in the air title kind of is how I am feeling right now.

We had some bad news just arrived today.  On Christmas Eve a close friend and ex work colleague of G's (who became a friend of ours too) passed away from Covid.  She was in a care home in Glenrothes suffering from Dementia, she had been in hospital prior to that after having gone missing some months before when G and I had to get Police involved in finding her.  The sad thing is her family all live in Australia and we of course could not get to see her because of Covid, nor can we attend a funeral - bloody awful. Covid somehow got into the care home and several staff and patients became ill with it.

We also found out that my sister's brother-in-law died on Christmas morning not covid related and in some ways was a release but not expected just yet.

So a somewhat subdued day today, We're all OK just subued.
