Maintenance
Benidicto and Dave are cleaning out one of our water storage tanks to be ready for water harvesting later in the year. I think it's a stupid name, but all the experts use it, so.... It's just a storage tank collecting rain water form the roofs!!
They will clean the tank and remediate any cracks to make it water tight again.
In all we have about 200,000 litres of storage on this Lusangazu farm, helping us to get three crops per year in areas.
Not very interesting but still part of what we do.

our activities was as follows:
In Dimba: Continuing constructing seedbeds, applying manure to prepared
beds, tilling and levelling plots
Arables; Continuing making ridges for sweet potatoes, tilling and
sowing beans to the upper field
Organic; Making natural pesticide from garlic and soap for fungal and tephrosia and dahlia for treating aphids in vegetables.
Green houses; Watering and removing budding tapes from successful
tangerine and oranges.
