Ruffled Redshank

Went for a walk along Sandymount Strand in Dublin Bay today (Stephen's day here in Ireland., Boxing Day in the UK). Tide goes a long way out here and it's a good walk to the water's edge at low water. The light was quite flat  but this little guy was showing off his knees, doing the fox-trot in shallow water.
