Drift

I was going to take photos of falling drops today, but all the photos I actually took are not of the drops but the patterns the liquids made in the water. I think I only caught a drop once or twice, but not sharp enough. Reckon I need a better set-up and a tripod or another dripping source to be able to get that. Dripping with one hand and taking photos with the other was not very effective..

Anyway, I started out with milk, but that did not look very cool because the background was so light. I tried to put a dark background behind it, but this caused reflection in the glass and I did not know how to solve that (anyone any advice?). So instead I went on a search for a different coloured liquid. I found my sister's strawberries and picked one that could no longer be eaten anyway, squashed it with our garlic crusher to get the red liquid out and tried that instead. This photo kinda gives away how I did this, but the flow was the nicest here :)
