Scotland plays Ireland at rugby in the 6 Nations at Murrayfield tomorrow.

Don't panic. The snow is not from the rugby stadium. It's from the ice arena next door - the brick building. After the Zamboni has re-surfaced the ice (having swept up all the ice chips as part of the process), it dumps its load (if you'll pardon the expression) at the back door.

I was at the ice arena tonight for Capitals playing Coventry Blaze. Caps won emphatically - 6:2. Lots of Blaze fans made the trip, so a good atmosphere for most of the game. It was 2-2 at the end of the 2nd period, and Caps cut loose in the 3rd. Blaze fans went a bit quiet then.
