The Gas Man cometh.

Again.

He was here for nearly two hours.

New pump. New pipe work. Lots of banging.

We now have more heat, but it still doesn’t seem quite right. We’ll have to monitor it over the next day or two.

We restricted the chap to our utility area at the side of the house, and hall, stairs, landing and bathroom. Full ventilation (with storm Bella getting into gear outside). Everything cleared out, and then when he left I deep cleaned everything. J still very anxious, but I am confident we’ve done all we can do and should be OK.

I am quite looking forward to relaxing with a good book. Not really a prospect when you have one eye on a dicky heating system.
