First Slice

The Christmas cake came back to me since it seems that only my sister and us eat it these days. Seems a shame, it looks good and tastes good and (if you leave out the icing) it may even do you good. A slab will head back to sis but I think our share will last most of the year!
Today we had our Christmas dinner - roast pork, dumplings and gravy - and it was great. There’s the faint possibility I may have eaten and drunk too much however and I might have to go lie down for a while! That’s almost traditional.
And we had a good catch up with the Arizonians who seem to have been given a Covid present for Christmas. The gift that goes on giving!
