Boxing Day

We had to go out to the lodge today. We'd got a last minute booking for a few days so we took them some milk and a Christmas card. (We always leave our visitors tea, coffee, sugar and milk so they can put the kettle on before they need to unpack.)

I messaged them to tell them all was ready and they didn't have to wait until 5pm tomorrow to gain access. I wanted them to see if they could avoid the worst of the weather for their journey as we are due snow and ice tomorrow.

We came home via the lake but by this time it was raining so just a few shots.

This afternoon I took all the turkey off the bone and got the carcass onto the hob for stock. I've got a bit more room in the fridge now.
