Chouffe

Set a mood of peaceful spring serenity in your home with our new collection of decorative pieces inspired by the traditional botanist's garden. So suggests an email I've received from John Lewis. I like sound of that mood. I can't say it's a mood that fits me like the proverbial glovey/handy thing but it sounds well, peaceful and serene, that's for sure.
Today, I enjoyed the trams around the town. Once Edinburgh's tram is up and running, I shall sit on it, peaceful and serene, and wave gracefully at the pedestrians, in the manner of our late lamented Queen Mum.
Now however, it's time to step. Restaurant Greetje has a table prepared. Salt 'n' pepper, 'n' all. Later, I shall treat myself to La Chouffe. You betcha.
