A day for the birds!

A cloudy day but milder.

This morning I spoke to friends on the phone, did some jobs then went for a long walk with S. to the beach. Nice to see the birds, especially the egret with its ruffled feathers. Sun tried to come out but only weak and then gave up!  Made lunch, also made pasta meals and soup from the remains of the chicken.  Chicken sandwich for tea and Molly (cat) also had some scraps!  Is it just my cat or have others with pets found that they want to be with you more at the moment?
