Levels rising

Such a tragedy for parts of Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. Sitting in tier 4 Covid restrictions and then told to leave their houses due to flooding on Christmas Day. 
The blip is of the holding area at Welney Wash which is already near full capacity. There is a stranded car just round the corner out of shot, presumably someone not checking the gauges when they attempted to drive through. The alternative is about 20 miles on to the journey but often it's worth doing that 20 miles. 
We are waiting nervously to see what comes down river in the next couple of days with Bella starting to blow. The guys operating the sluices and pumping stations will have to do some juggling over the next week.
