A typical mornings clicks
when out with Indie. I love the colours, textures, & sounds of the heath at this time of year. Very mucky underfoot but not a problem if suitably equipped. Mum came back with me today, live horse racing on the tv this afternoon, which she likes, but unable to get on her tv at the mo. Flippin' technology. I don't know what's wrong with her tv, the handset did'nt have a manual, the grandson-in-law is the techno whizz. He's looked at it,and going to bring something to try and fix it, BUT how long will she have to wait. He's busy at the mo working on Rick Steins next tv series, so Mum's tv problem not at the top of the pile.
We, Mum, hubby & I, each picked a horse in the 5 races televised. Mum had the best bet of the day .. Briony Frost, a local jockey, winning aboard Frodon at 20/1. We snacked on cold duck ... delish!
Dropped Mum home, Indie very pleased to see her best buddy home again. She is great company for Mum, & so switched on.
The Great British Sewing Bee Celebrity Special, first tonight. Hubby is thrilled!!! .... Obviously!!!! :-)))) BUT he has been watching live footie .. so fair's fair!. AND The Great Pottery Throw Down is back with a new series in January .. whoop whoop! Keith Brymer Jones is such a softie .. love 'im!
The worst of Storm Bella seems to be hitting us overnight so should be relatively dry for tomorrow's walkabout. I'm thinking a change might be good, but where will I go I wonder.
Watch this space! ..... as they say. And if I'm not back send out a search party. :-)
